Job Purpose
Company Representative in charge of well services activities carried out by Contractors at remote site location.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of well intervention, completion, and maintenance activities on offshore oil and gas platforms.
- Responsible for supervising well services crews, managing operational processes, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise Well Services Operations: Lead, manage, and supervise offshore well services operations, including well perforation, well surveillance, water shutoff, well zonal isolation, and other intervention services as required.
- Crew Management: Supervise and mentor a team of offshore well services personnel, ensuring proper training, performance monitoring, and safe work practices.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular safety briefings and audits to identify and mitigate any potential risks.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee the execution of well services tasks, ensuring efficient planning, equipment readiness, and optimal performance. Monitor the progress of all well services operations and make adjustments as necessary to achieve targets.
- Equipment and Resource Management: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition. Coordinate the procurement, transport, and installation of required materials and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Respond to operational challenges or emergencies swiftly, providing technical guidance to resolve issues effectively and minimize downtime.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of all well services operations, including daily reports, operational logs, and incident reports. Prepare performance and post-job evaluations.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the drilling, production, and HSE teams to coordinate and align well services activities with other operational priorities.
- Budget and Cost Control: Manage well services operational budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control. Provide input into cost-saving initiatives and project forecasting.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, new technologies, and process improvements to enhance well services operations.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Minimum five (5) years experience with at least two (2) years in supervisory positions related to E-Line/ Slickline operation consist of: Various Loggings, Well Perforation, Well Isolation, WL Fishing and related 3rd party tools, etc.
- Have experience of offshore operation and equipment
- Experienced in supervising staff, contractors, and ensure adherence to Company rules & regulations and SSHE policy
- Familiar with well services activities e.g. workover, perforations, well testing, well stimulation, slickline, wireline, well integrity, function test, and wellhead maintenance
- Good command in spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of computer applications
- Must be certified with basic safety such as T-BOSIET, H2S awareness, first aid, fire-fighting.
- Must be certified with IADC or IWCF well control (Intervention) certificate
