Supervisor, SSHE (Trainee) SSHE Supervisor Development Program (SSDP)

Job Purpose:

Supervisor, SSHE (Trainee) provides daily SSHE operations supervision, SSHE advice and support to well operations department and contractors such as SSHE MS implementation and compliance, relevant SSHE rules and regulations, etc. The jobholder is responsible to ensure effectiveness of SSHE-MS and safe system of work at site including those of contractors.

Employment Status:

• 6-mo training (Bangkok / Songkhla Office & Offshore)
• 6-mo offshore work and on the job training
• Performance assessment every 6 mo, contract extension for  staff who pass the assessment.

Key Accountabilities:

Under SSDP Program, learning from experienced instructors and assigned mentor to develop competency skills within 6 months of SSDP and perform key deliverables as follows:

• Supervise team and manage contractors’ SSHE performance to execute SSHE activities according to SSHE MS / contract requirements.
• Communicate and deploy SSHE campaigns / initiatives. Ensure that they are successfully implemented by all contractors.
• Be incident investigation facilitator. Coach / advise team to achieve quality CTA and root causes for future SSHEimprovement.
• Conduct routine SSHE audits and inspections as per SSHE audit plan.
• Follow up findings and recommendations from incident investigations, audits, inspections, etc. until completely closedout.

Professional Knowledge & Experience:

• Newly graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of engineering, or science in occupational health and safety, internationallyrecognized diplomas in SSHE or
• 3 years of experience in managing health and safety (Drilling and Wells is preferable) or
• 5 years of experience in Exploration and Production (E&P – Onshore / Offshore)
• Proficiency in communication for both Thai and English.
• Achieved TOEIC score above 650
• Analytical and communication skill
• Capable to using MS applications
