Job Purpose
Supervisor, SSHE Trainee is responsible for supervising daily SSHE operations, providing SSHE advice and support to the Well Operations Department and contractors. This includes implementing and ensuring compliance with the SSHE Management System (SSHE-MS), as well as relevant SSHE rules and regulations. The role ensures the effectiveness of SSHE-MS and safe systems of work at the site, including those of contractors.
Key Accountabilities
Under SSDP Program, learning from experiences instructors and assigned mentor to develop competency skills within 6 months of SSDP and perform key deliverables as follows:
- Supervise team and manage contractors' SSHE performance to execute SSHE activities according to SSHE MS / contract requirements.
- Communicate and deploy SSHE campaigns / initiatives. Ensure that they are successfully implemented by all contractors.
- Be incident investigation facilitator. Coach / advise team to achieve quality CTA and root causes for future SSHE improvement.
- Conduct routine SSHE audits and inspections as per SSHE audit plan.
- Follow up findings and recommendations from incident investigations, audits, inspections, etc. until completely closed out.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Newly graduated with a Bachelor's degree of engineering, or science in occupational health and safety, internationally recognized diplomas in SSHE or
- 3 years of experience in managing health and safety (Drilling and Wells is preferable) or
- 5 years of experience in Exploration and Production (E&P - Onshore / Offshore)
- Proficiency in communication for both Thai and English.
- Achieved TOEIC score above 650
- Analytical and communication skill
- Capable to using MS applications
