Job Purpose
Operator, Stock is responsible for the physical handling of stores stock, the inventory control in the shipping and receiving function, support upon request on material handling activities. The job holder involves receipt, storage and distribution of goods for the store facility. Periodic physically update of the inventory against records and the condition of stock.
Key Accountabilities (1)
- Perform Good Received (GR) and Good Issued (GI) upon materials request, ensure the correctness.
- Check invoices, delivery note and other related shipping documents before further process Good Received (GR).
- Organize proper filing of necessary documents (invoices, delivery note, picture, manual, certificates) for prompt audit.
- Maintain inventory at offshore location and keep track of inventory movement (in/out) of offshore storeroom
- Coordinate with other functions on storage of inventory, stock replenishment, or write-off
- Coordinate and provide necessary documents to concerned parties such as invoice to Financial Department, manual, certificate and SDS to Operations for further process.
Key Accountabilities (2)
- Ensure materials stored in correct bin location, such as spare parts, chemical items and suitable conditions to extend material’s life
- Conduct inventory physical check as per Company’s procedure.
- SAP focal point for offshore (inventory & warehouse management and purchasing modules)
- Generate Delivery Advise Note (DAN) from SAP system and properly file for audit purpose
- Conduct physical count to check discrepancy of stock materials and check conditions of stock materials.
- Familiarize type of consumables, name, how to use, how to store properly and monitor shelf life status
Key Accountabilities (3)
- Regularly run reports such as daily PPEs & Consumable report, weekly receiving report. Check against POs to ensure all goods deliver on time.
- Coordinate with requesters for proper packaging and process for goods repair & return.
- Issue purchasing requisition (PR) for parts and consumable items related to multi-disciplines for offshore operation
- Act emergency response roles as being assigned in Site’s Emergency Response Plan
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Diploma in related fields
- 3-5 years of experiences in similar position e.g. warehouse, inventory, material man with knowledge of stock software. Offshore experience is an advantage.
- Fair command in both written and reading English
- Good interpersonal skills and serviced-minded
