Officer, Material Coordination (Well)

Job Purpose

Officer, Material Coordination is responsible for planning and acquiring necessary materials and equipment required for completion and well service operations and arranging logistics support to deliver material and equipment to the rig and well locations in a controlled, responsible, timely and efficient manner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate with company’s logistic team to transport materials and equipment as per operation requirements from field and all company’s contractors
  • Issue Material Movement Request (MMR) in I-logistic system and ICT Service Request
  • Liaise among drilling/completion, well service, workshop and contractor for material and equipment preparation
  • Assist with company and contractor equipment inspection and commissioning program and arrange for inspectors and planning to meet operation timeline
  • Organize and supervise transport requirements.
  • Prepare and verify outgoing manifests and incoming manifests.
  • Check and make proper inventory for all company’s equipment onboard on each field
  • Maintain up to date tracking of equipment and tool sent and back loaded from offshore locations, also proceed for custody equipment registration when applicable

Key Accountabilities (Cont.)

  • Monitor and maintain sufficient quantity of material, tool, spare part, etc. required for offshore operations and liaise with a workshop superintendent when the new order should be made
  • Assist with stock reservation to support drilling/completion and well service operations as required
  • Complete Service Entry, Goods Received, Service/Purchase Order to support drilling/completion and well service operations
  • Manage corresponded stock and non-stock inventory belong to completion and well service department. This also includes material write-off and scrap process.
  • Assist in conducting special project for testing, verifying or investigating on equipment functional or failure
  • Create and provide accurate daily report on each activity
  • Ensure government regulations and requirements are adhered to by all parties regarding material import/export Thailand

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree (engineering degree is preferred)
  • 7-year experience administrative in Oil and gas Industry
  • 3 years’ experience offshore well operations
  • Good knowledge of Gas/oil field equipment
  • Experience in offshore or onshore well service activity
  • Experience in supporting well service operation where it’s remotely operated.
  • Good in written and spoken English skills

  • Demonstrated good communication skills and teamwork
  • Experience in SAP system
