Key Accountabilities (1)
Support of Process Operations on FSO
- Assist in supervising and coordinating all condensate receiving, storage, and offloading operations, including metering, tank cleaning, and maintenance activities of deck machinery on board.
- Support the Chief Officer in ensuring all cargo handling systems are properly maintained and in good working condition, and that fiscal metering systems are calibrated in accordance with operating manuals, ASTM standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Assist in monitoring condensate handling operations from receipt at the central production platform through to delivery to the offtake tanker, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Support the management of cargo quality and quantity control, including monitoring flow rates, pressure, and process upsets.
- Assist in maintaining cargo documentation and reports, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily available.
Support of Marine Operations on FSO
- Assist in maintaining vessel stability and safe mooring conditions at all times, including monitoring hull stresses within allowable limits.
- Support preparation of ship condition plans for submission to the Barge Master prior to operations.
- Assist the Chief Officer in overseeing marine activities in compliance with applicable maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and assist in supervising deck marine team activities for daily operations and maintenance tasks.
- Support maintenance, descaling, and coating activities of FSO decks, accommodation areas, and marine pipelines, and coordinate required repairs and renewals.
Key Accountabilities (2)
Support of Pilotage and Mooring Operations
- Assist in coordinating and preparing for shuttle tanker berthing operations, including pre-berthing checks and readiness.
- Ensure mooring and offloading equipment (e.g., hawsers, hoses) are available, maintained, certified, and in good working condition.
- Support the monitoring and coordination of safe and efficient berthing and unberthing operations.
Support of SSHE Management on FSO
- Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHE policies, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in conducting Marine Work Team safety meetings, toolbox talks, JSAs, and inspections.
- Support the planning and execution of safety drills, training, and emergency exercises for personnel on board.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Experience in the operation of marine systems and offtake tanker operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tanker operations as a Deck Officer, preferably on vessels equipped with Inert Gas Systems and Crude Oil Washing (COW) systems.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements related to FSO operations; prior FSO/FPSO experience is an advantage.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems to support the supervision of FSO operations and maintenance activities.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the use of standard office and reporting software.
