Officer, SSHE Support

Job Purpose

Officer, SSHE Support is responsible for implementing SSHE in well services field operations to protect the Health and Safety of the Well Services employees, contractors whilst sustaining the quality of the environment. The jobholder ensures that the well services field operations are conducted safe and efficiently, and are in accordance with the company related requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage Safety, Security, Health and Environment operations of Offshore Well Operations staff
• Serve as a SSHE focal point; keep track of SSHE performance and facilitate in-house SSHE meeting
• Ensure SSHE implementation in Well Services field operations
• Maintain a SSHE benchmark that is comparable to best-in-industry practice, and international standard
• Create a culture where management, employees and contractors mutually understand and uncompromisingly manage the SSHE risks in their working environment
• Provide professional advice on Safety and Security discipline
• Provide Safety and Security training and briefings to staff and contractors
• Take overall responsibility for Basic SSHE Competency
• Coordinate emergency exercises related to Well Service operations

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering or related fields
• Basic knowledge of well operations
• Experience in managing SSHE issues including audit, accident investigation (root cause analysis), and leading emergency exercise

• Good presentation skills
• Be able to work under pressure
