Key Accountabilities
The jobholder prepares and manages the execution of onshore commissioning activities to be completed in appointed schedule & cost by complying with company procedures, project requirement and law regulation.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Prepare commissioning plan where scope involves the methodology, tools, activities.
- Ensure that the commissioning procedures is complied with OPERCOM and reporting tools (data-base, planning, progress, cost).
- Mobilise and manage the organization and means. Select and approve key personnel for pre-commissioning and execution phase in accordance with the requirements of the commissioning mobilization schedule. Integrate specialized personnel, vendor’s assistance and personnel coming from Operations
- Ensure the coordination with other project entities and onshore field entities.
- Manage and lead the team in the execution of onshore commissioning activities to achieve maximum of productivity, minimizing cost and achieve smooth hand-over with production entity.
- Coordinate with construction responsible and operation site representative to ensure commissioning sequence is respected toward smooth overlap between end of pre-commissioning and start of onshore commissioning activities.
- Supervise the reporting of commissioning execution to ensure that all technical, contractual and cost information is properly collected, recorded and available for inspection/reference as required by procedures, law regulations, project requirement and company policies.
- Ensure safety aspects of commissioning activities are evaluated at all levels in the team in accordance with company SSHE policy and procedures.
- Ensure the completion of all commissioning activities are in the schedule and cost. Handover to start-up without major reserve and solve the punch list.
Additional Desirable Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering of related fields i.e. Chemical, Mechanical ,Instrument
- Experience at least 6 years in Commissioning Works, plant start up and construction, operation in refinery, Petro chemical plant, Oil&Gas,
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Broad based computer knowledge
- Must have good planning skills
- Trouble shooting skills
