Key Accountabilities

  • Implement procedures, standards, guidelines and management system related to Corporate Security in compliance with PTTEP security management standard and industry best practice plus in alignment with corporate direction and SSHE MS
  • Identify security threats and exposures and propose protection goals mitigation plans, and contingency plans to counteract any security emergency consistent with the Company strategic plans
  • Assist in conducting security survey, compliance check and audit programs, and identify gap, give recommendation to develop mitigation plans, track progress and support gap closing as well as participate in major security investigation to propose expertise and recommendation in ensuring efficiency and impact protection to the company
  • Provide security-related advice and technical supports to site personnel involved in all operation sites in compliance with the company’s SSHE policies, procedures and management system
  • Promote security awareness among PTTEP employees through security campaigns
  • Produce security alerts regarding unexpected security incident/ event to alert concerned personnel, and coordinate with HR regarding safety & security matters related to staff
  • Provide security supports for the company’s key events such as Annual Shareholder Meeting, IPTC, etc, including executive protection
  • Coordinate with projects/ assets, FG SSHE and all support functions to develop, plan and implement Emergency Response programs, Emergency and Crisis Management in compliance with corporate emergency and crisis management standard and related local laws and regulations

Key Accountabilities (Continued)

  • Support projects/ assets, FG SSHE and all support functions to organize Major Emergency Training, Emergency and Crisis exercises including Tropical Cyclone exercise as well as assist to prepare and amend field emergency response procedures and contingency plans to ensure readiness and preparedness of all sites regarding Emergency & Crisis situations (thru SLA)
  • Liaise with all support functions related to Emergency and Crisis Management e.g., HR (Relative Response), Corporate Communication (Media & External Response), Business Continuity Management (BCM) to align systems and practices with Corporate Emergency and Crisis Management System and readiness for implementation
  • Maintain efficiency and availability of equipment and facilities in Emergency and Crisis Management Rooms of PTTEP Head Office to be always in good condition and ready to use at all time
  • Provide Emergency Management Training to all duty rostered and concerned personnel in PTTEP to ensure adequate competencies
  • Liaise with Royal Thai Navy for PTTEP – RTN Cooperation project to maintain high security for Domestic’s offshore operations i.e. platform safety zone intrusion, offshore emergency & crisis preparedness, terrorist protections, etc
  • Liaise with other government authorities for security protection and emergency response i.e. DMF, Police, Army, Thai-MECC, DDPM, etc.
  • Maintain contact and good communication with external security specialist to ensure well support from vendor in providing intelligence security information and services to support the company’s business
  • Maintain and develop technical network and good relationship among professional disciplines and external parties including PTT Group’s Security and Emergency teams regarding security intelligence, information and networking to optimize good cooperation and support

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Military/police) or engineering or occupational health and safety science
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of security and emergency response related field
  • Minimum of 1 year’ experience of oil and gas industry
  • Good knowledge of security and emergency management
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  •  Good command of spoken and written English
