Officer, SSHE IS
Job Purpose
As the Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our company's SSHE performance and risk management capabilities. By leveraging advanced data analysis and science techniques, including emerging AI technologies, you will derive actionable insights from SSHE data to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
• Generate the blueprint (digital workflow) from process workflow (e.g. engineering workflow, sshe workflow, etc.)
• Develop application to support work execution in according to engineering and SSHE workflow, to gather information from various entities, to analyse and integrate the data from other applications, and to monitor the status of the equipment on facilities, etc.
• Perform testing of the developed applications as per detailed test plan including Functional Acceptance Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Operations Readiness Testing, etc.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics to identify trends, patterns, in the SSHE application, e.g. incident prediction, LOPC prediction, etc..
• Collect, clean, pre-process, and integrate SSHE data from various sources, such as SSHE applications, MOC applications (e.g. EPMS, SAP, etc.), which include large amounts of unstructured data to create a centralized and high-quality database.
• Flag data for further verification and confirmation when necessary.
• Utilize computer vision, natural language processing, and other AI methods to extract meaningful insights from unstructured data.
• Collaborate with SSHE and Operations teams to translate data-driven insights into concrete recommendations for enhancing SSHE operational and verification controls, risk mitigation strategies, and overall SSHE performance.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate performance indicator e.g. SSHE KPIs, PSEIs, and data-driven insights to key stakeholders.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and SSHE management to identify and pilot new technologies that can enhance the organization's SSHE capabilities.
• On-site and remote support to assist in the planning, project management and facilitation of various IT projects and functions
• On-site and remote support to assist users in problem solving in application usage.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• 0-3 years of experience in data analysis, science, or engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization, or equivalent.
• Experience applying machine learning, deep learning, and other AI techniques to solve complex problems.
• Familiarity with SSHE data management systems, risk assessment, incident reporting, audit and closure action management, and industry regulations will be a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including SSHE, Operations, and IT/Digital teams.
