Engineer, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Support

Key Accountabilities

• Participate in Quality and technical meetings as necessary
• Review supplier reports from a Quality point of view
• Follow Up NCRs (Non-Compliance Reports) issued by PTTEP and suppliers/contractors with respect to corrective actions presented by suppliers/contractors
• Lead monthly contract meetings with service providers from a Quality perspective
• Interface with Well Engineering and Operations Division (OWO) and its departments in Bangkok and the Logistics Base in Songkhla for all matters concerning the Quality issues on OWO’s Products, and Services
• Interface with the PTTEP Quality representatives in Songkhla, or in other locations where PTTEP Products or Services are being performed
• Keep regular contact with goods, Products, and Service Suppliers and local Service providers
• Remain competent to represent PTTEP in the presence of the regulator as required
• Contribute to preparation of OWE/S QAQC budget including follow-up and control of expenditures for the assigned contract management
• Maintain an archive for all Quality Records received by Drilling and Well Services Departments

Personal Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline from a recognized University
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Version 2015 or API Q1 or Q2
• Possess working knowledge in the NDT methods of Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic Testing and Radiography
• Possess working knowledge of the Products and Services provided to PTTEP
• Preferably a minimum of 3 years working in a Quality Department of any engineering/manufacturing industries (preferably in Oil & Gas businesses, especially with practical experience in managing Quality issues on Drilling and Well Services Products & Services)
• Advantageous if with good knowledge and familiarity with the most advanced QA/QC requirements and procedures for inspection/auditing
• Manage the Drilling and Well Services Quality database system to ensure that any record required is properly archived and retrievable
• Perform the review of suppliers’ Quality documentation to ensure suitability to Scope of Work/Service
• Support Quality technical audits and assessments

• Attitude to stay in Operational bases, Manufacturing facilities for short periods
• Critical aptitude and the ability to analyse processes quickly, methodically and effectively

Personal Qualification & Experience (Cont.)

• PC literacy with Word and Excel applications in a Windows environment
• Basic Knowledge of Drilling and Well Services Products
• Good knowledge and familiarity with the most advanced Quality requirements and procedures for inspection/auditing
• Team player skills, capable of working with professionals
• Fluency in English language, both verbal and written

Main Interfaces:

Company/Internal

•             The job holder will interface with the Drilling and Well Services Department in Bangkok and the Well Operation Logistics Base for all matters concerning the Quality issues on Drilling and Well Services Products and Services

•             Interface with the PTTEP Quality Representatives in Songkhla and in other Locations where PTTEP Products and Services are being performed

External

•             The job holder has regular contact with Products and Service Suppliers (Drilling and Well Services) and local Service Contractors and Suppliers.
