Engineer, Maintenance Support (Instrumentation)

Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for Field Instrument and Control system maintenance.
- Responsible for ICSS and SCADA system in troubleshooting and maintenance operation
- Develop Maintenance strategy and planning related to field instrument and control system
- Obsolescence management strategy including upgrade project management, design selection, procurement and up to field implementation.
- Manage spare part inventory and annual review for optimization.
- Long term and annual budgeting plan & control
- Interpret data using RCM, FMECA/FARCAS techniques to identify corrective action to maintain and improve plant integrity and availability
- Provide strategic plan and manage maintenance program via Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), familiarization with SAP will be advantage.
- Coordinate with offshore supervisor, maintenance engineer, technician and contractor for maintenance planning and implementation
Key Accountabilities (Continued)
- Provide technical support for field troubleshooting including execution as needed
- Provide technical support for rotating equipment control troubleshooting focusing on turbine and compressor package as needed
- Provide technical support for the Alarm Management and OT cyber security implementation.
- Participate in HAZID HAZOP and SIL classification and verification workshop
- Develop and maintain equipment database based on new projects and management of change.
- Support in-house maintenance work improvement related to procedure, equipment bill of material, pilot project, etc.
- Promote the implementation of company’s SSHE policy and regulations in all works under responsibility
- Reliability improvement and cost optimization by leveraging maintenance practice and modern technique, if any.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation/ Control Engineering or any related.
- Working Knowledge and experience 10-20 years in:-
- Instrument Control system specification, maintenance, upgrade and repair
- PLC system
- DCS and Safety Instrument System
- SCADA and Telemetry system, Field Instrument specification, maintenance, calibration and repair
- Flow, Level, Temperature and Pressure Transmitters
- Metering and Analyzer
- Final Elements (PSV, Control valve and Actuated on-off Valve)
- Interface communication (HART, Modbus protocol)
- Experience in DCS/SIS/PLC e.g. Yokogawa, ABB, Schneider, Allen-Bradley or similar, Process Control System and Gas Turbines Control System Retrofit project for Solar Turbine turbo compressor, Generator package and Production booster compressor or similar.
- Instrument Drawings (Instrument index, Hook-up drawing, termination diagram, C&E)
- Operation technology system architecture design focusing on level 3 and level 3.5 (DMZ) Knowledgeable on Alarm Management and OT cyber security implementation including digital transformation will be advantage.
- Fully familiar with International code and standard
- Instrument Control system specification, maintenance, upgrade and repair
Professional Knowledge & Experiences (Continued)
- Experience in oil and gas field or Petrochemical plant will be an advantage.
- Safety Oriented, Good attitude, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to develop work procedure / standard practice.
- Able to work in offshore/ onshore field during maintenance campaign.
- Be skill in Procurement/Contract and Contracting strategies
- Good Communication skills in English both verbal and written
