Engineer, Maintenance Support (Electrical)

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for offshore/ onshore electrical equipment inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, repair and upgrade
• Develop Maintenance strategy and planning maintenance campaign
• Manage procurement process for spare parts and manpower services including maintenance contract development
• Plan and process Maintenance management via Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Provide technical support for field troubleshooting including execution as needed
• Coordinate with offshore supervisor, maintenance engineer, technician and contractor for maintenance planning, preparation, and execution
• Supervise technician/ contractor and lead team to perform field execution.
• Prepare progress report, summary close-out report and punch list management.
• Keep monitor equipment condition and support equipment availability reporting.
• Develop and maintain equipment database.
• Lead or support new initiative for cost reduction, reliability and safety improvement e.g. new PM strategy, bad actor analysis, digital transformation, pilot of new technology, digital transformation, etc.
• Promote the implementation of company’s SSHE policy and regulations in all works under his/her responsibility

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer or any related.
• Knowledge and experience 8 - 12 years in:-
  • Electrical equipment specification, maintenance, overhaul, upgrade and repair
    • MV & LV Switchgear, transformer, generator,
    • Motor and electric heater,
    • EDG, UPS and batteries
    • HVAC
  • Electrical testing, commissioning and equipment condition assessment as per IEC, IEEE or any other applicable standards
  • Electrical safety rules according to NFPA70E
  • Ex equipment selection, installation, inspection, maintenance and repair according to IEC60079 and NEC500
  • Root cause analysis and Risk assessment
• Experience in oil and gas field will be an advantage.
• Good attitude, communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to develop work procedure / standard practice.
• Able to work in offshore/ onshore field during maintenance campaign.
• Acquired electrical engineering license at associated level.
• Good command of English (TOEIC ≥ 650)
