Engineer, Maintenance Support (Booster Compressor)

Key Accountabilities

To support and manage for the Engine change out, Pump change out, and Cooler bundle change out inside the Booster Compressor skid in G1, G2, and Arthit.

  • Responsible for the execution of G1, G2 and Arthit Booster Compressor maintenance activities including Caterpillar and Waukesha Engine change out, Diaphragm Pump change out, and Cooler bundles replacement.
  • Coordinate with Booster Compressor Planner and Booster Compressor Engineer to define the work scope, execution plan, budget, and manpower plan to execute the Engine change out, Pump change out, and Cooler bundle replacement.
  • Responsible for coordination and communication with all stakeholders during equipment change out, including operation, maintenance, planner, construction, and contractor.
  • Coordinate with construction to perform site survey and prepare work package for material, lifting equipment, project execution plan, lifting plan, tools as per project requirement.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and all stakeholders to execute equipment change out and ensure the project’s performance and compliance in terms of schedule, QA/QC policies, SSHE requirement, cost control, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Report and feedback any issues to all stakeholders if affected to plan or work completion.

Key Accountabilities (Additional)

To support and manage for the operation and maintenance activities for Booster Compressor in G1, G2, and Arthit.

  • Coordinate with offshore Booster compressor supervisor, Booster compressor engineer, Booster compressor senior supervisor, Reservoir engineer for day-to-day operation and maintenance planning on Booster compressor packages.
  • Troubleshooting, reviewing the bad actors, identifying the corrective action plan, and initiating the project improvement from the repetitive shutdown case to maintain and improve booster compressor package reliability and availability.
  • Responsible for annual and long-term budgeting plan for Booster Compressor operation and maintenance.
  • Provide strategic plan and manage annual maintenance program for Booster Compressor package.
  • Manage spare part inventory and annual review for optimization.

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering in Mechanical or related fields.
  • At least 7 years working experience in maintenance for Booster compressor or mechanical maintenance in oil & gas, petrochemical or refinery industries.
  • Good knowledge on Reciprocating Booster Compressor with Gas engine driven is advantage.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work in offshore / onshore field during maintenance campaign.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
