Engineer, Maintenance (Mechanical)

Key Accountabilities
- Periodically review the rotating equipment maintenance strategies and surveillance tasks for their effectiveness and efficiency to achieve reliability and cost efficiency
- Act as the owner of the rotating equipment in the asset plan and maintenance reference plan
- Develop maintenance program for rotating equipment (Preventive maintenance and schedule corrective maintenance)
- Ensure compliance of rotating equipment discipline activities against the integrated activity planning process
- Ensure that the short and medium term plans are realistic and are executed accordingly, including major overhauls, for offshore and onshore facilities
- Apply continuous improvement tools to drive improvements in safety, technical Integrity, reliability, availability, cost within the discipline
- Administer the rotating equipment condition monitoring program, including vibration monitoring and periodic lube oil analysis, ensuring timely response to early signs of failure
- Maintain a living program for the proactive technical monitoring program for the rotating equipment discipline, aligning practices with other interfacing teams and work processes
- Timely review and update of rotating equipment discipline critical documents and procedures for relevance, fitness for purpose, and consistency with technical standards and industry practices.
Key Accountabilities (Cont.)
- Provide discipline input to related changes throughout the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Prepare document, procedures and training materials as well as provide trainings and/or OJT to associate mechanical engineers in related to turbines and compressor package
- Support site maintenance and operations activities
- Provide input in technical reviews including SIL assessments, HAZOP reviews, PM Optimization reviews, etc
- Plan and process procurement for spare part and manpower services
- Promote the implementation of company’s SSHE policy and regulations in all works under responsibility
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related
- Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance or engineering in oil and gas industry or petrochemical industry
- Experience working with rotating equipment of which overhaul/ maintenance/ troubleshooting/ modification of turbo machinery packages in the Gulf of Thailand, including Compressor Packages, and Generator Packages (Rolls Royce Avon, RB-211, Solar Centaur 40, 50, Mars 100, Saturn 10, 20, Taurus 70 and 60), Dresser Rand, Siemens, Sulzer, Clyde Union or Flowserve would be an advantage
- Expertise in condition monitoring & troubleshooting of rotating equipment, failure analysis
- Knowledge of rotating equipment design principles, operation, and maintenance
- Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting and failure analysis of pumps, compressors, and internal combustion engines
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance or equivalent risk and maintenance management tools
- Knowledge in vibration analysis and diagnostics
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes such as API, ISO, and used widely for rotating equipment
- Able to develop work procedure / standard practice
- Able to work in offshore/ onshore field during maintenance campaign
- Effective coordination skill to liaise with other functions
- Good attitude, excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Good command of spoken and written English. Minimum TOEIC score 750
