Job Purpose

Coordinator identifies opportunities in hydrogen and carbon capture and utilization business (CCU) and performs a technical and commercial study. The jobholder needs to participate in commercial aspect of project development as well as M&A due diligence and provide the best proposal for management consideration. The jobholder requires to support in coordination with all related stakeholders and prepare for contract negotiation to enhance PTTEP business expansion and ensure benefit to company utmost. The jobholder also needs to execute the project management and hand-over activities as planned. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Acquire reliable, appropriate and accurate information related to hydrogen and carbon capture and utilization project. Perform preliminary study and analysis to identify potentiality of business opportunities aiming to expand the company business growth and benefit to company utmost. Conduct opportunity screening and develop proposal for management consideration.
  • Coordinate detailed commercial study, M&A due diligence and project execution on selected opportunity with a support from corporate functions in order to evaluate and develop participation/bid proposal for the opportunity:
    • Coordinate with internal functions to conduct due diligence and opportunity valuation
    • Engage outside consultant to perform the assigned study and due diligence if necessary
    • Coordinate, cooperate and control the implementation activities to ensure project execution as planned
    • Consolidate the result of the comprehensive studies, review, evaluate, rank to identify both advantage and disadvantage to pursue or decline the opportunity
    • Prepare participation/bid proposal for project owner and/or government for management and BOD approval
    • Coordinate PTTEP’s internal process to obtain required approvals for the proposal 
  • Prepare to set up and execute suitable contract and negotiation strategies for PTTEP:
    • Prepare and propose suitable negotiation strategies 
    • Coordinate and consult with Legal Team to draft and review contract and ensure alignment with PTTEP’s strategy and necessary requirements
    • Participate and support in negotiation activities
    • Coordinate with related functions to organize the signing contract activities
  • Support hand-over activities within timeline:
    • Develop hand-over plan to asset management team
    • Coordinate and meet with related functions to share and transfer information and prepare for hand-over implementation activities in timely manner
    • Manage and coordinate the implementation of hand-over as planned and ensure smooth and success of the hand-over activities until completion
  • Provide commercial supports including business analysis, coordination and contract negotiation for TCH’s development projects.

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Finance (preferable with MBA)
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in energy industries
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
