Business Analyst, Data Foundation and Analysis

Job Purpose

Business Analyst, Data Foundation and Analysis is responsible for shaping and optimizing data to support business objectives for Assets. The jobholder collaborates with various stakeholders to understand data requirements, analyze data structure and processes, translate business needs into action plans, and implement data product development for further integration with other applications or workflows.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with business and relevant teams to gather and analyze asset’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT/ Digital teams or vendors and translate business needs into technical specifications for data structure design and data product development to align with business processes and support asset’s requirement.
  • Perform data profiling to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve data integration issues to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

Key Accountabilities (Con't)

  • Provide training and advices to end-users on data-related tools and processes.
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms and ensure compliance with related standards/ procedures/ guidelines/ regulations.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in data quality and processes.
  • Provide support on reporting and analytics as needed.

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

  • Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
  • 3-5 years experience in Management system or Information Technology.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
