ADP 2026 (Engineering)
Job Purpose:
At the entry level, Associate Engineer is responsible for engineering works under supervision to develop necessary knowledges and skills under accelerated development program. He/She assists engineers, senior engineers or managers to deliver engineering studies, detailed engineering deliverables for Brownfield modifications, and other works assigned to maintain production, improve unit cost, and improve plant reliability.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work under supervision to support engineering works in every asset life cycle including but not limited to concept selection, basic / detailed engineering, construction engineering, procurement support, operations and maintenance support, and decommissioning.
- Be present onsite or at the vendor/contractor premise to perform investigation, troubleshooting, audit, site survey, commissioning and/or acceptance test.
- Perform engineering studies which involves engineering calculation, cost estimation, budgeting, simulation, design and analysis
- Practice and learn to apply engineering concepts, methods, and technical knowledges to carry out the work assignment
- Carry out engineering works adhering to cooperate/department standards, guidelines, work procedures, and practices
- Practice and assist in technical administration of related service contracts / procurement of simple package/ well-defined contracts
- To be trained intensively on the necessary fundamental E&P engineering concepts / methodologies
- Participate in team discussion to build up the fundamental knowledge / capability of technical
- Follow the company’s SSHE policy and regulations in all works under his/her responsibilities
- Undertake other duties as assigned including special projects
Professional Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Civil Engineering)
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Required TOEIC score 650 and up
ADP 2026 (Drilling & Well Engineering)
Job Purpose:
He or She will be assigned to PTTEP field On-Job-Training (OJT) at well operations (both Drilling and Well Services). He or She also have basic class room trainings, i.e. Drilling and Well Services Engineering knowledge, SSHE, First Aid, Fire Fighting and etc.
Key Accountabilities:
On 1st year
- On-Job-Training (OJT) at PTTEP field for familiarize with well operation.
- Attend classroom training on Drilling and Well Services including SSHE e.g. SSHE1, Basic First Aid, Basic Fire Fighting, BOSIET, etc.
- Attend evaluation session; prepare presentation to demonstrate knowledge learnt during OJT.
- Submit any homework or Syndicate work as per assigned by Focal Point Engineer.
On 2nd – 3rd year
For Drilling (responsible for NDSV)
- Assist Senior Drilling Supervisor to organize, coordinate and supervise the drilling contractor and service companies’ work to ensure a safe, smooth and efficient operations progress.
- Follow up the plan for the material, equipment and personnel movement to rig
- Compile and summarize the drilling activities, anomalies and reports to Senior Drilling Supervisor
- Follow up cost control, reporting and equipment inventory on the rig
- Assist Senior Drilling Supervisor on communicating with drilling contractor and other PTTEP representatives as per emergency procedures in emergency situation and/or when lives and properties are endangered including medical evacuation, blow-out, emergency situation, etc. For Well Services (responsible for Well Operations Supervisor)
- Onsite supervision and assist Well Services Supt to coordinate work to ensure that all assigned well services operations are managed and conducted following Company’s SSHE policy and industrial standards.
- Compile and summarize well services operations; and report any operation failures/problems to Superintendent for further decision-making for solutions.
- Contributing in implementation, enforcement, developing and updating of safety and operating procedures.
- Provide necessary inputs/feedbacks for technical improvements of well operations.
- Take overall responsibility for the condition of all equipment/tools used in operations under limitation, and ensure that equipment is properly rigged up and tested under pressure control principles and procedure.
- Conduct safety meeting, lead onsite JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and tool box meetings.

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, and Civil Engineering)

ADP 2026 (Geosciences)
Job Purpose:
Associate Geologist will be assigned as “on the job” trainee to obtain and develop necessary geological knowledge and skill, with particular on geological activities, under close supervision of Senior Geologist or Geologist
Key Accountabilities:
- Practice and assist geologist in correlating relevant technical data (geological, seismic, reservoir, production data) and conducting reservoir geological study.
- To be trained and/or practice in constructing various distribution maps/ models to depict reservoir geological distributions characteristics of assigned sections / areas.
- Practically be trained on various phases of geological activities to build up fundamental knowledge / capability
- Provide geological supports/ information to senior colleagues and the team,
- Study and be an observer in working groups to review well geological prognosis and perform onsite geological follow-up during drilling/logging operations.
- To be trained intensively on the necessary fundamental geophysical and geological concepts as well as on computer and technical database.
- Cross-disciplinary training with Geology.
Professional Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree Geosciences, Geology, Geophysics, Earth Science or related field
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Required TOEIC score 650 and up
ADP 2026 (Reservoir Engineering & PE Conversion)
Job Purpose:
Associate Engineer, Reservoir Engineering will be assigned as “on the job” trainee to obtain and develop necessary Reservoir Engineering knowledge and skill under close supervision of Senior Engineer, Reservoir Engineering or Engineer, Reservoir Engineering.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform Reserves and Resources estimation and reserves movement report on a quarterly and annual basis for both oil and gas accumulations
- Evaluate well and reservoir data from daily production data, well testing, data surveillance and relevant documents
- Provide program for perforation, well treatment, reservoir management plan and production monitoring
- Design well testing to evaluate well performance and reservoir characteristics. Perform well testing operation as on-site representative
- Monitor production parameters and propose solutions or recommendations to optimum development
- Perform well completion designs for production optimization and propose remediation plans for idle wells
- Generate well production forecast for oil, gas, and water
- Carry out reservoir studies either through manual calculations or analytical simulation programs. This includes practice to analyse (1) reservoir behaviours, (2) utilization of the existing equipment, and (3) operating conditions.
- Perform production allocation by zone and well basis according to valid well test data
- Gain knowledge from geology, geophysics, production operations, well services and drilling disciplines
- Be trained intensively on the necessary fundamental reservoir engineering concepts as well as on computer and technical database
- Follow and encourage colleagues to comply with company’s SSHE policy and procedures
Professional Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
