REPORTING TO : Head of Sarawak Production Operations Section
DIVISION/DEPARTMENT : Sarawak Production Operations Section (PBK/O)
LOCATION : Sarawak BORF
1. KEY OBJECTIVES
- Supervise the BORF Maintenance team for the execution of planned preventive maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) to ensure the safety, cost, schedule and quality requirements are met.
- Provide technical input to the maintenance planner for the large and complex jobs.
- Review and endorse the weekly work schedule.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on all related maintenance work to the embedded maintenance team (EMT).
- Provide the level of technical expertise to advise and oversee on shore vendor repairs.
- Ensure the maintenance history within CAMMS (SAP) is of high usable quality.
- Strive to satisfy and exceed all customers agreed requirements and expectations.
- Responsible for Mentoring of the maintenance crew.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Works with the line trainers to sign off on maintenance group personnel competencies.
- Advise on changes/improvements to the CAMMS(SAP) work order management system.
- Ensure maintenance procedures and work instructions pertaining to the maintenance group are in place and compliance takes place by the personnel under his charge.
- To plan so that adequate and competent personnel are available for daily and planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure roles and responsibilities of all subordinate maintenance group personnel are clearly defined and understood and that all new employees receive a comprehensive induction before commencing their duties.
- To supervise contract personnel and liaise with consultants/representatives when activities utilizing vendors are being carried out.
- To perform individual performance appraisals and development reviews and participate in recruitment, training and development of line employees in the maintenance group.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Administration, preparation and coordination of maintenance related mandatory PTTEP MALAYSIA reports.
- To assist with the development of the Annual Field Operations budget.
- Assist in administration of maintenance group employee rosters and schedules.
- To ensure the BORF Maintenance Team complies with the requirements of the Maintenance and Reliability Management System (MRS).
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance inspections and tests. Function test and evaluate machinery operation and condition to determine necessary remedial action.
- To ensure CAMMS (SAP) is used as required by the MRS management system.
- Liaise with EMT technicians with regard to the forward planning of spare parts requirement, stock maintenance, determination of stock levels and maintenance consumables on the facility.
3. WORKING RELATIONSHIP
- Maintenance Manager.
- Production Supervisor.
- Production Maintenance Team personnel.
- On board short-term contract and technical staff and all visitors.
- On shore vendors, workshops and support personnel.
- Good relations must be maintained with personnel on all facilities and all regular points of contact.
4. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- A minimum of 10 years experience in hydrocarbon production industry environment in a maintenance management capacity.

- A minimum of 5 years experience associated with hydrocarbon production and offshore production floating facilities in a maintenance management capacity.

- Strong personal and interpersonal skills with flexibility to meet the fluctuating needs of Field Operations.

- Strong communication skills for working with, understanding and motivating local vendor and repair work-shop personnel.

- Strong team building skills.

- A sound knowledge of the business drivers affecting PTTEP MALAYSIA.

- Specific knowledge of oil and gas production, rotating equipment, water injection and gas lift plant.

- Sound knowledge of Project, Construction and Commissioning activities, with previous experience in one or more Malaysian construction sites.

- Sound knowledge of training, CBTA and technology transfer issues in Malaysian environment.

- Valid HUET/Sea Survival training.
