1. KEY OBJECTIVES

  ·        Responsible for Onshore preparation and Offshore Supervision in relation to all types of Subsea Intervention activities.  Working as part          of an integrated development team with Completion/Intervention Engineers, Sub-Sea engineers and supervisors, Production                            Engineers, Production Operations and Subsurface.

  • To ensure compliance offshore with all approved COMPANY procedures/policies. To communicate with COMPANY personnel on FPSO or Host platforms and KL office as required. 

·       Manage and supervise all associated offshore interfaces with Vessel, Service Providers and other vessels, rigs and production facilities.   

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Offshore Supervision of all types of well interventions activities including Subsea Intervention systems deployment, operating and recovery, slickline, ELine and Coiled Tubing, stimulation and ROV operations. Offshore supervision of Company personnel.
  • Provide daily reports and other communications as required to the Engineer in Charge (EIC) in KL.
  • Preparing onsite work instructions/procedures for and supervising onsite slickline, electric line, coiled tubing, acidizing, chemical; treatments logging/data acquisition and subsea operations
  • Offshore cost control of Service Provider equipment & services and well services cost to remain within budget/AFE.
  • Manage offshore lessons learned process as required.
  • Advising on and solving technical problems related to DTU and/or Subsea Well Intervention operations.
  • Witness SIT/FAT testing of critical DTU & Subsea Intervention, sub-sea equipment as required.
  • Participate and contribute to Risk Assessment, IWOP and post intervention/After Action Review (AAR) meetings.

 

3. KEY AUTHORITIES

  • As provided/assigned by Head, Well Services Section and Head of Well Operations Department.

4. WORKING RELATIONSHIP

  • Reporting to Head, Well Services Section or designated EIC and advising on operational progress, safety issues, and operations forecast and costs.

 

  • Liaise with other Onshore/Offshore Team members and extended team members in drilling, facilities, Subsea and other subsurface disciplines.

5. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Mandatory

  • Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, OR acceptable length of service in Subsea Completions/Intervention. Valid IWCF Well Control Certificate
  • Working Experience: 8 -12 years in offshore well completions, Subsea Tree installation/interface and well servicing with a minimum of 5 years in Deepwater or Subsea Completion and/or Subsea Intervention experience. 
  • Working knowledge of Intervention Vessels including DP, Compensation systems etc.
  • Working knowledge of Reservoir and Production engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Subsea Tree designs/interface and operations.
  • Working knowledge of all well service operations and equipment. (Including but not limited to Slickline, E-Line, Coiled Tubing, Stimulation)  
  • Experience in international operations is a plus.
  • Self motivated.  Strong computer literacy.
  • Strong people management, communication and organizational skills.
