1 KEY OBJECTIVES

Formulate Regulatory Compliance Plan in ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements, company’s policies and other stakeholders’ requirements.
Conduct periodic compliance audits and assessments to ensure the requirements for compliance are met.
Coordinate Facilities / Operations interface throughout transition to operational readiness.
Regularly reports Regulatory performance against set KPI’s for the project to the Project Managers and the Project Sponsor.
Interface Coordination: provide relevant feedback/input to contractors, such as construction/installation regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Assess, identify & mitigate regulatory / project risk that may impact project schedule, cost, variations by discussing way forward, action plans & recovery plans with production, operation and project team.
Review and monitor regulatory achievement with/by contractor to ensure project progresses within the key areas / milestones.

To ensure compliance with regulatory & permitting requirements applicable to onshore/offshore projects.
To undertake documentation, inspection, liaison, and procurement of timely regulatory approvals.
To ensure all relevant regulations / codes / standards which impact a Project’s phases of design, fabrication, transportation, installation, commissioning, and operations are identified and secured.

Obtain (Malaysian) permits related to the development of onshore/offshore installations.
Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory compliance for employees and facilitate workshops and seminars on regulatory topics.
Monitor, follow-up, and expedite the approval of required regulatory requirements.
Participate in Field Acceptance Tests (FAT) / Site Integration Tests (SIT).
Participate in facilities inspections activities at contractors’ fabrication yard.
